Vacation at the Organic Farm – Welcome to Waldhof in Gastein
At the Waldhof organic farm, you can expect genuine hospitality, beautiful nature, and a way of life that will stay in your memory for a long time.
Active vacationers, relaxation seekers, families, and spa guests are warmly welcome here.
Location of the accommodation
Due to the location of the Waldhof, we are the perfect address for relaxation and active vacations. The Waldhof is nestled in the magnificent mountain scenery of the Gastein Valley, located at 1000 m above sea level, surrounded by forests and meadows, yet only a few minutes from the lively town center. Our farm is directly at the ski slope of the Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel ski area, allowing you to easily strap on your skis right outside your door and zoom off into the perfect snow. You can also start hikes directly from the Waldhof, saving long travel times.
Description of the accommodation
Our two lovingly furnished apartments offer comfort and plenty of space for two to five persons. The apartments are each 60 m² in size and equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, cozy seating area, two to three bedrooms, a private balcony, and two bathrooms with shower and toilet.
For children, we offer a play corner in the house, as well as a playground in front of the house.
On our farm, we raise cows and calves, cats, chickens, rabbits, and our farm dog "Waldi". You are welcome to visit us at work in the barn, in the field, or on the alp and experience "real" farming.
Experience the Gastein mountain world in summer and winter and enjoy a varied vacation in Salzburg Land.
Winter dream in the snow
In the cold season, you can expect a true winter paradise: The Schlossalm ski area is reachable right outside your door and offers perfect conditions for skiers, snowboarders, and cross-country skiers. Winter hikes, snowshoe hikes, and romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides can also be wonderfully undertaken. After an active day, you can relax and unwind in the Alpentherme Gastein.
Summer freshness in the Alps
In summer, enjoy the fresh mountain air, blooming alpine meadows, and a vast network of hiking trails right at your doorstep. Whether cozy walks, challenging mountain tours, or relaxing hours in the nearby Alpentherme – the Waldhof offers pure relaxation. Cyclists and mountain bikers will also find varied routes in the immediate vicinity, and the valley station of the Schlossalm hiking area is only a few minutes away on foot.

Am Biobauernhof Waldhof erwarten Sie echte Gastfreundschaft, wunderschöne Natur und ein Lebensgefühl, das lange in Erinnerung bleibt
Aktivurlauber, Erholungssuchende, Familien und Kurgäste sind bei uns herzlich willkommen.
Lage der Unterkunft
Aufgrund der Lage des Waldhofes sind wir die perfekte Adresse für Erholung sowie Aktivurlaub. Der Waldhof ist eingebettet in die herrliche Bergwelt des Gasteinertals und liegt auf 1000 m Seehöhe umringt von Wäldern und Wiesen und ist doch nur einige Minuten vom lebendigen Ortskern entfernt. Unser Hof liegt direkt an der Schipiste des Schigebietes Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel und bietet Ihnen somit die Möglichkeit einfach die Schi vor der Haustüre anzuschnallen und im perfekten Schnee los zu düsen. Auch Wanderungen kann man direkt vom Waldhof aus starten und spart sich somit lange Anfahrtszeiten.
Beschreibung der Unterkunft
Unsere zwei liebevoll eingerichteten Appartements bieten Komfort und viel Platz zum Wohlfühlen für zwei bis fünf Personen. Die Appartements sind je 60 m² groß und mit einer voll ausgestatteten Wohnküche mit gemütlicher Sitzecke, zwei bis drei Schlafzimmern, eigenem Balkon und zwei Bädern mit Dusche und WC eingerichtet.
Für die Kinder bieten wir im Haus eine Spielecke, sowie einen Spielplatz vor dem Haus an.
Auf unserem Hof werden Kühe und Kälber, Katzen, Hühner, Hasen und unser Hofhund "Waldi" gehalten. Sie können uns gerne bei der Arbeit im Stall, am Feld pder auf der Alm besuchen und "echte" Landwirtschaft erleben.
Erleben Sie die Gasteiner Bergwelt Sommer wie Winter und genießen Sie einen abwechslungsreichen Urlaub im Salzburger Land.
Wintertraum im Schnee
In der kalten Jahreszeit erwartet Sie ein echtes Winterparadies: Das Schigebiet der Schlossalm ist direkt vor der Haustüre erreichbar und bietet perfekte Bedingungen für Skifahrer, Snowboarder und Langläufer. Auch Winterwanderungen, Schneeschuhwanderungen und romantische Pferdeschlittenfahrten lassen sich wunderbar unternehmen. Nach einem aktiven Tag kann man anschließend in der Alpentherme Gastein gemütlich entspannen und sich erholen.
Sommerfrische in den Alpen
Genießen Sie im Sommer die frische Bergluft, blühende Almwiesen und ein weitläufiges Wanderwegenetz direkt vor der Haustür. Ob gemütliche Spaziergänge, anspruchsvolle Bergtouren oder entspannte Stunden in der nahegelegenen Alpentherme – der Waldhof bietet Erholung pur. Auch Radfahrer und Mountainbiker finden abwechslungsreiche Routen in unmittelbarer Umgebung und die Talstation des Wandergebietes Schlossalm ist nur einige Gehminuten entfernt.
