With the necessary sense of aesthetics, respect for tradition and incorporating local craftsmanship, the former smithy was transformed into a chalet in a class of its own. A perfect symbiosis of tradition and modernity in the hotspot of the Alps.

The house dates back to 1750 and has been completely renovated and refurbished in recent years. Each of the single or double rooms has its own bathroom. On the first floor there is a beautiful Zirbenstube with wooden kitchen and a large tiled stove. There are also 2 renovated double rooms with private bathrooms and a wellness area with large shower, sauna and relaxation room. In addition, on the first floor there is a laundry room with dryer and washing machine and a guest toilet. On the second floor are further a double and 1 single room with bathroom. On the 3rd floor is the absolute highlight, a 100sqm Artloft with 2 large cozy sofa corners, an exclusive kitchen, a large table, a grandiose fireplace and balcony.

The house has further a garden loft. There is 1 double room and a living/bedroom. A great bathroom and a small kitchen makes this apartment your own Tinyhouse. Suitable for staff/upair or bigger children.
This garden loft can be booked additionally for € 120,00 per day.

State of the art technology, wifi, 5 flat screens, as well as nice dishes, pots, linens and towels etc are part of the basic equipment of the house. There is a large parking lot for at least 3 cars next to the house. The private, large garden also offers many possibilities. A separate ski room with its own entrance, ski boot heater and ski rack provides great comfort even for avid winter sports enthusiasts.

The alpenhaus barbara 1750 is located at the foot of the mountains in the museum village Alt-Böckstein at 1200 meters above sea level. The romantic and quiet location is unique. Directly behind the house the hiking trail leads to the idyllic Böckfeldalm and next door there is Austrian traditional cuisine in the Rathausberg. The center of Bad Gastein, the alpine hotspot with its many bars and restaurants, can be reached by car in just 5 minutes. The large Gastein ski area Ski Amadé can be reached within 10 minutes by bus. The ski bus stop is only 5 minutes away on foot.

RAILWAY
With the train you come comfortably to Bad Gastein. Especially rested with the new sleep / night trains. There are various direct connections from many major cities, Munich, Vienna Hamburg ) Cabs are available at the station - the ride from the station to the Alpenhaus Barbara costs about 15 euros. But there are also bus connections almost to the front door

AIRPLANE
The nearest airports are Salzburg, Klagenfurt and Munich. Either you book a private shuttle to your vacation domicile or use bus and train

CAR
Coming from the north via Salzburg Tauernautobahn A 10 southbound until Bischofshofen exit Gasteinertal, Exit 47 continue on B 311 until Lend turn left to the B 167 Dorfgastein, Bad Hofgastein, Bad Gastein, coming from the south drive via Villach, Spittal, Möllbrücke and Obervellach to Mallnitz from there through the Tauernbahn car lock directly to Bad Gastein. The trains run at one-hour intervals. Parking spaces are available in front of the house.

Das Haus stammt aus dem Jahre 1750 und wurde in den letzten Jahren komplett saniert und renoviert. Jedes der Einzel- oder Doppelzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich eine wunderschöne Zirbenstube mit Holzküche und einem großen Kachelofen. Außerdem gibt es 2 renovierte Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad und einem Wellnessbereich mit großer Dusche, Sauna und Ruheraum. Zusätzlich befindet sich im Erdgeschoss ein Wäscheraum mit Trockner und Waschmaschine und ein Gästeklo.Im ersten Stockwerk sind weiter ein Doppel- und 2 Einzelzimmer mit Bad.

Im 3. Geschoss befindet sich das absolute Highlight, ein 100qm großes Artloft mit 2 großen gemütlichen Sofaecken, einer exklusiven Küche, einem großen Tisch, einem grandiosen Kamin und Balkon.

Das Haus verfügt weiter über ein Gartenloft. Dort gibt es 1 Doppelzimmer und einen Wohn-/Schlafraum. Ein tolles Bad und eine kleine Küche macht dieses Apartment zum eigenen Tinyhouse. Geeignet für Personal/Aupair oder größere Kinder.
Dieses Gartenloft kann zusätzlich für € 120,00 pro Tag gebucht werden.

Modernste Technik, Wlan, 5 Flatscreens, sowie schönes Geschirr, Töpfe, Bettwäsche und Handtücher etc. gehören zur Grundausstattung des Hauses. Einen großen Parkplatz für mindestens 3 Autos gibt es neben dem Haus. Der private, große Garten bietet ebenfalls viele Möglichkeiten.Ein separater Skiraum mit eigenem Eingang, Skischuhheizung und Skiständer sorgt für großen Komfort auch für begeisterte Wintersportler.

Das Haus Barbara liegt am Fuße der Berge im Museumsdorf Alt-Böckstein auf 1200 Höhenmetern. Die romantische und ruhige Lage ist einzigartig. Das Zentrum von Bad Gastein, dem Alpenhotspot mit seinen vielen Bars und Restaurants, ist mit dem Auto in nur 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Skigebiet Ski Amadé ist innerhalb von 10 Minuten mit dem Bus zu erreichen. Die Haltestelle des Ski Bus ist zu Fuß nur 5 Minuten entfernt.
