Finally, you can enjoy a swim in warm water, even here in Austria, from the beginning of May until late October. Since July 1st, the days of freezing in chilly lakes are over for good. Two new swimming lakes filled with thermal water were created in the outdoor area of Alpentherme Gastein. The gloriously warm water in the lakes comes fresh from the mountains every single day. Feel the astonishing power of nature that is captured in every drop of Gastein thermal water.

The smaller of the two thermal lakes, with an area of approximately 370 square meters, is available for the enjoyment of guests of Sauna World. Relax body and mind in the fresh air, as you swim through the invigorating thermal water. Ready for another session in the sauna?
