The adidas TERREX INFINITE TRAILS - 8. to 10.9.2023

Trail running is running in the great outdoors, on unpaved trails. For many outdoor athletes, trail running means pure freedom. No wonder that trail running enjoys great popularity.

The adidas TERREX INFINITE TRAILS are a unique trail running team challenge. Beginners and professionals alike run for victory on the mountains of the region. Together, each relay team will cover a total of 100 kilometers and 7,600 meters of altitude .

Team Race

On Saturday, September 9, 2023, three trail runners will start as a team relay in each of three different categories (women, men, mixed).
Each runner will complete one of three laps in front of the impressive Gastein Alpine scenery.
The laps differ in distance as well as in the course profile.
The following adidas TERREX INFINITE TRAILS Gastein distances are available: 21km/1900hm - 35km/2700hm - 44km/3000hm.
The sum of the individual results gives the relay time.

In case of adverse weather conditions the race will be held on bad weather safe routes below 1800m.

Loop S - 21K

Length: 21,40 km
HM: 1855 +/-
max. altitude: 2467m (Gamskarkogel)
Surface condition: Trail/gravel path
Highlights: Summit Europe's highest grassy mountain

Loop M - 35K

Length: 34,9 km
HM: 2726
Surface condition: Trail/gravel road/asphalt
Highlights: Summit Gamskarkogel - Europe's highest grass mountain - 2467m (Gamskarkogel)

Loop L - 44K

Length: 43,70 km
HM: 3080 +/-
max. altitude: 2433m (Tischkogel)
Surface condition: gravel path/trail/asphalt
Highlights: ridge run from Tischkogel to Stubnerkogel

Individual Trails

For all individual starters there is a spectacular challenge with an ultra distance of 60K over three Gastein peaks, the Gamskarkogel, the Graukogel and the Stubnerkogel.

There is also the beautiful long distance 45K with a breathtaking mountain panorama, and the popular 15K taster distance, which is open to all who dare to climb the 900 meters in altitude.

60K Ultra Loop

Length: 60,5 km
HM: 5081 m +/-

You love altitude meters? You'll get more than enough of that on this ultra loop. The 60K leads over three peaks of the Gasteinertal valley.

45K Individual

Length: 43.70 km
HM: 3080 m +/-

The adidas TERREX INFINITE TRAILS 45K INDIVIDUAL is a beautiful long distance for single starters and at the same time the LOOP L of the Team Race. The varied course with about 3000 meters of altitude includes a spectacular ridge run from Tischkogel (2.432m) to Stubnerkogel (2.246m).

15K Run

At the adidas TERREX INFINITE TRAILS 15K RUN, you'll have the opportunity to compete alongside trail running pros from around the world.

For all participants, a personalized access to the electronic, web-based starter bag will be set up, where all relevant information about the race and the side events and athlete services can be found.
All registered participants will receive an e-mail with the access data for their personal eventbaxx.
