Raiffeisen Gastein Classics 2023

The Raiffeisen Gastein Classics 2023 were successfully held in Bad Gastein in glorious weather and fantastic snow conditions.

35 PRO teams and more than 150 amateurs took part in the races on the high-altitude trail in Sportgastein on Saturday and Sunday.

The Pro Team Tempo competition on Saturday was held as a team event, with a total of 176 professionals taking part. The Swedish team "Engcon" around the strong Ida Dahl repeated last year's victory in Bad Gastein.

On Sunday, the Norwegian cross-country skiers took revenge in the individual races over 35 km and more than 400 vertical meters. Emilie Fleten secured an outstanding first Norwegian victory in the women's race , followed by compatriot Kasper Stadaas in the men's race.

In the amateur races on Saturday afternoon in bright sunshine, the Austrians celebrated several victories.

The Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria won the 30K with Petra Tanner and Josua Strübel and were also successful in the team classification.

Gastein local hero Lukas Pertl won the 15-kilometer competition. The preparations for the "Road to Gastein Classics" project in collaboration with our sponsor Atomic were therefore very successful.

The perfect race weekend underlined the importance of cross-country skiing in Gastein. The third edition in Bad Gastein in December 2024 is already fixed.

A big thank you to all sponsors and the many volunteers!
