FIS Snowboard World Cup on 10 and 11 January 2023 in Bad Gastein
At the FIS Snowboard World Cup, around 100 men and women fight for hundredths of a second in the qualification to get one of the 16 starting places for the big floodlit event. The highly acclaimed snowboard races have been taking place on the Buchebenwiese in Bad Gastein every year since 2001. The event has meanwhile developed into one of the most important and also most popular of the World Cup Tour. The stars of the scene will once again put in a lot of effort and deliver thrilling duels, as it is all about the last qualification chances for the athletes shortly before the World Championships. They all appreciate the selective race slope on the Buchebenwiese in the middle of the majestic Hohe Tauern. In addition to the magnificent Gastein mountains, the event also scores with top athletes such as Daniela Ulbing or Benjamin Karl. The highly acclaimed snowboard races have been held in Bad Gastein every year since 2001. The event has now become one of the most important and also most popular of the World Cup Tour.
