At the technique workshop for beginners you have the opportunity to get a taste of ski touring and learn important basics.
Together with an experienced guide, you will go up into the Gastein mountains (in the forest and on ski slopes) - the exact route will be announced upon registration. Once you have reached the top, you will have a rest in a ski hut. The descent is via the ski slope.
All route variants have a walking time of approx. 2 - 2 ½ h and a difference in altitude of 500 - 700 metres.
Duration approx.: 4.5 h
Miscellaneous: Safe parallel turns on red slopes are a must.
Please bring your own equipment. Equipment hire: Intersport Fleiss car park Schlossalm Schlossgasse 2a, Top Rent Angertal in the Angertal Ski Centre.
A valid ski touring card (lift card is also
possible) is to be brought along.
