SOLSTIZIO
Nothing influences human beings more than the cycle of light and darkness. Our orientation toward the light and the experience of darkness shape and define how we live and perceive life. A candle's glow on a winter evening, a sky full of stars at night, the light at the end of the tunnel, or even enlightenment itself: light cannot unfold without the experience and understanding of darkness. SOLSTIZIO refers to the astronomical events when the sun reaches its highest or lowest point relative to the equator twice a year.
STEFANIE BOLTZ
Stefanie Boltz is known for her work at the intersection of contemporary jazz and popular music. With her successful duo LE BANG BANG, she has explored the minimalist world of bass and voice in hundreds of concerts. As a composer and songwriter, she has also performed under her own name for over a decade. Since the pandemic, she has been part of JAZZBABY!, a collective of Alpine musicians. Her songs are marked by "courageous music"—courage for musical experimentation as well as for emotional depth. Her project FEMALE is a distillation of icons, role models, and trailblazers in women's music history. With SOLSTIZIO, she brings a premiere to Bad Gastein in 2025.
