Summer Lift Hours
If you want to enjoy the comfort and convenience of a lift in summer as well, take full advantage of the lifts that are running during summer season to add to your hiking and mountaineering experiences.
In Dorfgastein, the Fulseckbahn (8-passenger gondola) will carry you up “Adventure Mountain”. From here, you can also conquer other summits, or drop down the mountain just a bit to discover a mountain wellness oasis.
Due to the renovation of the Schlossalmbahn in Bad Hofgastein, this coming summer the Kaserebenbahn will be operating from Angertal to bring you on the “Discovery Mountain”.
In Bad Gastein, you will take the Stubnerkogel lift (8-passenger gondola) up “Scenic Mountain”. Awaiting you there is an overwhelming 360° panorama. Directly opposite is the Graukogel, whose two double chairlifts also run in summer. A short walk close to the mountain station through a pine forest is certain to rejuvenate you.
In Sportgastein, too, you can explore the high peaks with the help of the Goldberg lift.
The Goldberg lift in Sportgastein runs on three selected days. When it does, conquering the Kreuzkogel at over 2,600 meters above sea level is an absolute must.
