Relaxed Travel for Families

Arrival on German Rail

German Rail offers a direct connection to Gastein 4 times a day, saving you the bother of having to make tight connections. No matter what the weather outside, without having to stop to fill up your petrol tank or sit in traffic jams, you can ride on a "Sparschiene" ticket from Germany for as little as € 19.

Shuttle Service

Many hotels offer their own shuttle service from the train station to their business. Simply provide your hotel with plenty of notice. If your hotel doesn't happen to offer this service, not to worry: You will find taxis or public buses either right outside the station or very close by.  Is Bad Gastein your final stop? If so, book an all-day visit to the Felsentherme in combination with your ticket. The ÖBB-Plus offer even lets you save on relaxation!
