An ice-cold challenge for more quality of life!
From 26. to 29.1.2023 Ice4Life will take place for the seventh time and for the first time in the Gastein Valley. The focus of the "cool" event is the natural power of cold, which not only has a positive effect on the immune system, but also provides additional energy. Participants first venture into their running shoes for an hour in sub-zero temperatures and then onto cross-country skis for another hour before entering a two-degree ice bath. Whoever crosses the finish line first is irrelevant: the winners are all those who have taken part and are thus doing something good for themselves and their health.
The Sportgastein plateau serves as the location for the three-day event. There, training sessions, safety training, breathing exercises and a cozy social program with a torchlight hike are offered to participants before the competition.
