Can three-year-olds already sit still for an hour? Not at all! And they don't have to! Why sit when you can dance, bob, hop, spin and giggle?
After all, music is so much fun and exhilarates small and big, young and old hearts. Nowhere are emotions reflected so clearly and purely as in the faces of children: And the curiosity for the hour-long concert experience can be seen in them. Conductor and director of the Salzburg Philharmonic Elisabeth Fuchs is herself a mother of two: the early contact of children with classical music is a very personal concern of hers, freely following the motto "Early practice makes perfect". And having fun is her top priority. "Hansel and Gretel" make a musical appearance, as does the King of Songs and the King of Waltzes and, of course, the world-famous child prodigy W. A. Mozart. The children are actively involved in the concerts, which take place in the Alpenkurpark in good weather. Questions are asked and riddles solved. There are opportunities to join in and the stage is of course not only reserved for the musicians. The concerts are aimed at curious musical mice from the age of 3: The sky's the limit.
