Laser Biathlon in Gastein

Your pulse races as you give it all you've got out on the cross-country ski trail. The target gets closer, so you pull your laser rifle from your back, lie prone on the ground and take aim. Now it's all about being as calm as possible, breathing regularly and concentrating to the extreme. Five shots, five hits, then a new jolt of adrenaline as you jump back up, get back in stride and feel an amazing rush. Come to Gastein and try out this exciting combination of cross-country skiing and target shooting for yourself.

The "Kurparkloipe", which is located right in the center of Bad Hofgastein, also features several target-shooting stations for laser biathlon. No prior experience is required. The action-packed sport of biathlon is a really exciting alternative, especially for rookie XCers. Shooting with the laser sports rifle is completely safe, even for children.

And, with your Gastein Card, you can even rent out all of your cross-country equipment as well as the rifle from our local cross-country ski school. Now's a great time to book an instructor who will teach you the basics of laser biathlon. Or take part in an introductory class for beginners. During the winter months, as soon as the "Kurparkloipe" is open, these courses are offered every Tuesday from 3 p.m. and every Thursday from 5:30 p.m. Simply sign up in advance through the cross-country school.
