Bad Gastein

The farmhouse, built in the 15th century between Bad Gastein and Böckstein, is one of the oldest farms in the Eastern Alps.

The Ladislaus Cultural Association began renovating the building at the end of the 1990s. On the initiative of the Pohl family, the building was restored to its current condition in cooperation with the Office for Monument Protection and the municipality of Bad Gastein.

The Mineral Association Gasteinertal exhibits minerals from the Gasteinertal and side valleys in 2 rooms on the ground floor. In one room is the collection of the Gastein museum with approx. 160 exhibits. In the second room the association's own collection with approx. 270 pieces is exhibited.

The entrance is free of charge.

Guided tours for groups are also available by telephone.
