Bad Hofgastein

The Biberalm affords unique views of Gastein valley.
From the Bad Hofgastein train station, the path leads to the Brandebengut (parking available).
From there, we hike past the Hubertuskapelle via a lovingly constructed uphill trail
through the woods, with places of natural power and viewing points, to the Biberalm.
Time-on-trail ca. 1 1/2 - 2 hrs.


SPECIAL OF OUR HUT:
The Biberalm affords unique views of Gastein valley.From the beginning of June to the beginning of October, you will be treated to homemade products - alpine snacks and fresh donuts and country cooking - courtesy of the hill farmers. Children can have fun on the playground and with the animals.  The Biberalm is the start of the 3rd stage of the Gastein Trail and therefore also a good starting point to explore this long-distance hiking trail.

HOW YOU CAN REACH US:

ALM WITH OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATION: 10 beds, 4 camp-beds

MTB-ALM: An official Mountain Bike trail leads to the Alm.

The Biberalm is also reachable by car via a forest road. It also has popular mountain bike routes. An additional, beautiful uphill trail option is the loop path from the Schlossalm mid station via the Fundner Heimalm to the Biberalm.
