The Baldaufhütte was remodeled in 2007, both indoors and out, with a view to enhancing the sense of warmth and comfort.


SPECIAL OF OUR HUT:
The Baldaufhütte was remodeled in 2007, both indoors and out, with a view to enhancing the sense of warmth and comfort. If you wish to sample our homemade, organic hill farm products such as milk, buttermilk, homemade bread, fruit cake, butter, bacon, cheese, pressed cheese dumplings, schnapps, homemade liqueurs, and juices, there are a number of ways to get here.Over special treats such as fresh farmhouse donuts and French toast, cheese strudel, and hill farm coffee, you can observe grazing cattle and wildlife in the distance and enjoy the view of our well-groomed mountain meadows. For the little hiker, there is a sand-box, swing, slide, and an old gondola car which serves as a painting station.

MTB-ALM: An official Mountain Bike trail leads to the Alm.

HOW YOU CAN REACH US:
From the Angertalstraße to just beyond Gasthof Lackenbauer then right via Kematen - Nesslach - Thaler-Mahderhütte - to the Baldaufhütte (1 1/2 hrs.). Kleine Scharte summit station, along the Salzburg alpine path, via the Kreilingersteig trail - Rockfeld - and over the Lafenmahder to the Baldaufhütte (2 hrs.).
