At the entrance to the Gasteinertal, surrounded by Salzburg’s Mountains, you will find our Landhaus Johanna amidst the traditional village of Dorfgastein. Whether enjoying your winter vacation on over 205 piste kilometres, or spending your summer vacation on over 300 kilometres of hiking trails and exploring the Hohe Tauern mountain world – our apartments offer you the ideal starting point.
Description
Centrally and yet very quietly situated with a view of the Hohe Tauern national park you are awaited by the Bernkogel and Fulseck holiday apartments. Both apartments come with a fully equipped apartment kitchen and depending on request with one or two bedrooms. Additional comfort in your vacation in the Gasteinertal is guaranteed by two separate bathrooms as well as by our Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV and much more. After activities in the mountains, the days can be comfortably ended on your balcony offering beautiful panorama views. A highlight for younger and older guests alike is the exclusive tractor ride through the village.
Right next to the holiday apartment you are awaited by the piste of the Dorfgastein Großarl skiing area, where you will find many ski schools, the cable cars and, of course, also aprés ski possibilities.
Winter in Gastein
When opting for a winter vacation in Dorfgastein, you will not be disappointed by the broad variety of winter sports possibilities. Sportive guests will enjoy the countless kilometres of cross-country skiing trails, while nature-lovers appreciate the winter hiking trails, tobogganing runs and ice rinks.

During your summer vacation with family or friends as well, Landhaus Johanna offers suitable accommodation. Dorfgastein has quite the offer, in particular for bikers. Since the Thiesen family is often on tour with their bicycles too, we are happy to share insider hints. Right next to the house you can access hiking trails that take you into the mountains of the Hohe Tauern range. Guests of our house can enjoy the village’s solar bath free of charge.
Of course, recreation is a vital aspect in your vacation in the Gasteinertal. When visiting the nearby Alpentherme and Felsentherme thermal spas, as well as the radon gallery you can regenerate your body and let your soul run free.

When you are on the Gastein Bundesstraße in Dorfgastein at the Sparmarket drive left. Then go straight ahead, after 350 m you able to see our blue coloured house. After the bend take the left street, after 50m you arrived.
