The snow crunches underfoot. The mulled wine warms your hands and stomach.

The atmosphere in the center of Bad Hofgastein is pre-Christmas and festive. The shutters are festively decorated. It smells of mulled wine and punch. Burning logs in the fireplaces provide some warmth and light. The carolers are just lining up, smiling to each other and a few moments later a gentle Christmas carol is heard.

Some of Max's most famous works are the life-size bronze deer in the spa gardens of Bad Hofgastein, the Hubertus Chapel in the Ferleiten Wildlife Park, the downhill skier in Kitzbühel and the monument to the ski jumping legend Bubi Bradl in Mühlbach.

Max has already created countless works of art, from Krampus masks to farmhouse parlors, chapels, animals and abstract works. A selection of these will be on display at the exhibition during the Bad Hofgastein Advent market, including the artist's life's work - the life-size Bad Hofgastein Krampus group.

The town center of Bad Hofgastein with its festively illuminated pedestrian zone provides an atmospheric backdrop. Tradition and variety are guaranteed by local folk music groups and tower brass bands. Experience plenty of romance and idyll at the Advent market - perhaps even on a horse-drawn sleigh ride in the snow-covered spa gardens.
