The adidas INFINITE TRAILS in Gastein - 9. to 11.9.2022

Trail running is running in the great outdoors, on unpaved trails. For many outdoor athletes, trail running means pure freedom. No wonder that trail running enjoys great popularity.

In the days from 9 to 12.6.2022 it's all about trail running. We celebrate the sport with a trail run camp to prepare for adidas INFINITE TRAILS. Participants can expect guided trail runs in the valley, performance analysis with lactate level test, sports medical examination, yoga units, admission to the Alpentherme Gastein and much more. The 4-day trail run camp can be booked as preparation for adidas INFINITE TRAILS (price € 498,- incl. half board per person in a double room).

At the end of September 2022 Trail runners will come together at the adidas INFINITE TRAILS event in Gastein. Beginners and professionals alike fight for victory in this unique trail running team challenge. The relay-team will cope with a total of 90 kilometres and over 9,000 meters in altitude.

These are the rules of the adidas INFINITE TRAIL:

• On Saturday, September 10th, three trail runners will start as a team in three different categories (women, men, mixed).
• Each runner completes one of three laps in front of the impressive Gastein Alpine backdrop.
• The laps differ both in distance and in route profile.
• You can choose from the following Adidas Infinite Trail Gastein routes: 21km/1900hm - 35km/2700hm - 44km/3000hm.
• The runners cover the last kilometre together to cross the finish line as a team.
• For all single starters there is a spectacular challenge with an ultra distance of 65km/5000hm over three Gastein peaks, the Gamskarkogel, the Graukogel and the Stubnerkogel. Also, new this year is a 45K loop and the popular 15K loop remains.
