A world championship isn’t just about the athletes: It also lives from the partners and family members who travel with them, and from the excited spectators who cheer for them during the event. In this case, there will be several different “hotspots” along the course, where you will be able to fire up your favorites and carry them across the finish line with your enthusiasm. You can also count on lots of exciting action in the transition zone at the Alpenarena in Bad Hofgastein as well.
Want to experience this event race-side, and at the same time enjoy the magical scenery of the Hohe Tauern mountains in SalzburgerLand? If so, go ahead and choose one of our spectator packages so you can soak up the atmosphere of the World Championship shoulder-to-shoulder with other fans of the trail-running scene.
All three of our “Active Packages” begin at 5:15 a.m. with pick-up of e-bikes at Intersport Fleiss. We will then ride the e-bikes to Bad Gastein for a power breakfast at the Kraftwerk Café – while we are there, the lead-off racers will also be passing by. For detailed information, simply click on the box. Beginning at 2 p.m., spectators will then be brought over to the Alpenarena in Bad Hofgastein, where the first trail runners are expected to cross the finish line at around 3:30.
This is for those of you in the mood for a more laid-back experience. Beginning at 4 a.m., you’ll be right there as the athletes get the race started. Whenever you have an appetite, a small breakfast is waiting for you at the Alpenarena Bad Hofgastein, next to the starting line of the race. After enjoying a hike along the Pine Path on the Graukogel, you will continue up to the Stubnerkogel for the Summit Party, where the first racers are likely to show up after 10:45 a.m. By 3:30, you will already be at the Alpenarena in Bad Hofgastein, able to cheer on the eventual World Champion, as well as your own personal favorites as they cross the finish line. To make sure this "Light package" is a more comfortable one, all transfers and cable car rides between the different race-sides are included.
