Guided Hike: Hagener Hütte - in the footsteps of the romans

A beautiful but demanding hiking tour in the National Park 'Hohe Tauern' between the Mallnitzer Tauern valley in Carinthia and Nassfeld/Sportgastein all the way to Hagener Hütte (managed cabin).

The cabin is located between the Goldberg- and Ankogelgroup in the eastern part of the National Park Hohe Tauern.

This route was well known and frequently used even back in the time of the ancient Celts. After crossing Sportgastein we start our ascent to the Hagener Hütte (managed cabin). The view in the heart of the National Park is breathtaking.

After a break we start our way back to the valley.

Hiking time: approx. 6,5 hours, ascent 880m/ descent 880m

Meeting point: 8:45 am at the Tourist Office Bad Gastein
