Our guesthouse is situated in the popular spa resort of Bad Gastein. Quietly, but centrally located, you can enjoy relaxed holidays and an optimal situation to explore the variety of the Gasteinertal in winter, as well as in summer. The Stubnerkogelbahn is reachable on foot within a few minutes only. The Felsentherme thermal spa Bad Gastein, the station and the centre of Bad Gastein are easily accessible as well. Explore the spa resort of Bad Gastein strolling along Elisabeth promenade, right from our Egger guesthouse. Our house is ideally suited for your spa stay at Gastein’s radon gallery, since it is only 10 minutes away by car. A bus stop is right next to our house as well, only 2 minutes away. Cross-country skiing enthusiasts will appreciate the illuminated nearby cross-country skiing trail in Böckstein.

Cosiness is a top priority at our Egger guesthouse. Our well-groomed single and double rooms offer sufficient space to stay. In your winter or summer vacation you reside in lovingly furnished apartments that come with a kitchen, a large refrigerator and a flat screen TV.
With a size of 32m2, divided in bedrooms, a cosy living and a generous bathroom, the Silberkrug apartment is perfectly suited for your partner holidays. The 30m2Edelweiß apartment is additionally characterised by its garden view. In the evening you can stay in our cosy parlour or, in summer, on the lush sunbathing lawn right outside our house. A separate ski room with boot dryer is available for your skiing gear.
Winter in Gastein
In winter, the Gasteinertal offers a varied vacation programme to its guests. Your skiing technique can be optimised at the Stubnerkogel Angertal Schlossalm skiing area, at the Graukogel or in Sportgastein. Sportgastein as well as the Graukogel area with its breath-taking mountain backdrop invite guests to go ski touring.
Summer in Gastein
In summer, Sportgastein transforms into a nature idyll for people looking for peace. Explore Gastein’s mountain world on the innumerable hiking trails and take a break at one of the many lodges, where you can experience Austrian hospitality. Golfing enthusiasts will enjoy the 18-hole golf course in Bad Gastein.
