Location
Right at the foot of the Schlossalmbahn in Bad Hofgastein, Gasthof Berglift awaits you in a sunny and central location. In addition to unbeatable ski-in and ski-out opportunities, not only do we provide an ideal base for active days in the Alps, our own pizzeria and traditional inn guarantee guests a culinary treat as well. And that’s not all: Thanks to our ski rental center, we take care of all your equipment needs and provide top-notch service, for carefree winter fun without ever having to lug heavy gear around or stand in line. We also offer storage facilities in the basement, where you can safely stow away skis, boards and more overnight. Once the winter snow has melted away, summertime invites you to set out into the Alps and explore Hohe Tauern National Park. And whenever you crave pure relaxation, the famous Alpentherme Gastein spa resort is within easy walking distance of our accommodations.
Accommodations
Rustic woods and traditional design define the typical Salzburg style of our rooms. Spacious living area with abundant light and boundless love for detail, creating an incomparably cozy setting. All of our single and double rooms provide complete comfort and every convenience, including bath and WC, television and Wi-Fi, while most also boast their own south-facing balcony for private hours lounging in the sunshine accompanied by breathtaking alpine panoramas. Our guests can take advantage of plenty of free parking right next to the house, while pets are also more than welcome! Our breakfasts are lavish as well as regional, getting every day off to a nutritious, energizing start. If you have any questions whatsoever, we are always more than glad to assist either in German or English.
Since the health and regeneration of our guests is something very close to our hearts, our accommodations are completely smoke-free!
Summer
In summer, Gastein Valley attracts visitors with an array of extraordinary outdoor opportunities: hiking, mountain biking, alpine tarns, horseback riding and wellness, to name but a few. Countless hiking trails run right by us, while the NEW Schlossalmbahn, which also operates in summer, carries you effortlessly up into the mountains, where you can begin exploring the nature of the high Alps for yourself. At Gastein’s over 50 mountain huts, you’ll be enticed by a delicious selection of traditional specialties and homemade baked goods, along with full-flavored beer, a glass of wine or a cup of aromatic coffee. We are happy to provide our guests with bicycles for their mountain-bike tours, while after a full and active day in the Alps, there is nowhere better to unwind than the spacious wellness facilities of Alpentherme Gastein (10 min from us on foot, 5 min by bike). An events calendar and our InfoPoint provide you with the very latest information about upcoming events (Yoga Days, art festivals, Red Bull sports). Needless to say, we are always here to assist you with your holiday planning and happy to share our own personal tips and recommendations with you – on request, we even offer a pack lunch for you to enjoy out on the trail.
Winter
During the snowy winter months, the Alps are breathtakingly beautiful: Over 200 km of beautifully groomed pistes, cross-country ski trails and toboggan runs are simply impossible to resist. We are happy to provide our guests with the very latest winter sports equipment from our rental center, while basement ski storage is also available. Away from the pistes as well, you will always have a wide selection of activities to choose from, from romantic sleigh rides to snowshoeing expeditions through a glistening, pristine winter world. Even at nighttime, the skiing fun doesn’t let up in the slightest thanks to our floodlit slopes. Afterwards, warm up in one of numerous huts clasping a mug of mulled wine or Jagatee between your hands, or drop back down to the valley and take advantage of our own well-stocked house bar. For total relaxation and soothing warmth, there’s nowhere better than the saunas and steam baths of Alpentherme Gastein or the Felsentherme in Bad Gastein.

LAGE
Direkt am Fuße der Schlossalmbahn in Bad Hofgastein gelegen, begrüßt Sie unser B&B Berglift in sonniger und zentraler Lage. Neben feinstem Ski-in and Ski-out Vergnügen bietet unser Haus nicht nur den optimalen Ausgangspunkt für aktive Tage in den Alpen, sondern umsorgt mit hauseigener Pizzeria und traditionellem Gasthof unsere Gäste auch kulinarisch. Außerdem bietet unser Skiverleih alle Notwendigkeiten und besten Service für unbeschwertes Wintersportvergnügen ohne lästiges Schleppen und Hantieren. Auch ein eigener Skikeller steht für Ski- und Snowboard-Equipment jederzeit zur Verfügung. Wo im Winter Schneevergnügen, da lockt im Sommer der Nationalpark Hohe Tauern zu Erkundungstouren in die Alpen. Für besonders erholsame Stunden ist auch die berühmte Gasteiner Alpentherme von unserer Unterkunft bequem fußläufig erreichbar.
SO WIRD BEI UNS GEWOHNT...
Design trifft rustikales Holz und traditionelle Formsprache definieren einen lässigen Stil unserer Zimmer. Geräumige Wohnflächen mit viel Licht und Liebe in unvergleichlich heimeligem Ambiente. Komfortable Ausstattung mit Bad und WC, Fernseher und WLAN sind in allen Einzel- und Doppelzimmern Standard, größtenteils verfügen unsere Räumlichkeiten außerdem über einen eigenen Südbalkon für private Sonnenstunden mit atemberaubenden Alpenpanorama. Direkt am Haus stehen unseren Gästen außerdem ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung, auch Haustiere sind gern gesehen und immer willkommen! Unser Frühstücksangebot ist so umfassend wie regional und bietet den perfekten Energie-Start in den Tag. Für alle Fragen und Auskünfte stehen wir jederzeit gern zweisprachig zur Verfügung (Deutsch, Englisch,).
SOMMER in GASTEIN
Im Sommer lockt das Gasteinertal mit außerordentlichem Aktivitätsangebot: Wandern, Mountainbiken, Bergseen, Reiten und Wellness. Im direkter Nähe unserer Unterkunft befinden sich zahlreiche Wandermöglichkeiten, die Schlossalmbahn erleichtert den Aufstieg auch im Sommer und bietet von der Bergstation unzählige Erkundungstouren in die hochalpine Natur. Auf den über 50 Gasteiner Almen locken traditionelle Spezialitäten und hausgemachte Backwaren, auch ein gemütliches Bier, ein Glas Wein oder ein aromatischer Kaffee lassen sich dort immer gern genießen. Für Mountainbiketouren stellen wir unseren Gästen Fahrräder gern zur Verfügung, nach einem aktiven Tag in den Alpen entspannt man sich dann am besten im weitläufigen Wellness Areal der Gasteiner Alpentherme (10 min zu Fuß, 5 min mit dem Rad). Über aktuelle Events und Veranstaltungen (Yogatage, Kunstfestival, Red Bull Events) informieren Eventkalender und unser Infopoint jederzeit gern. Selbstverständlich stehen wir für alle Urlaubsplanungen mit Tipps und Empfehlungen gern zur Verfügung.
WINTER in GASTEIN - Ski-in und Ski-out
Im Winter liegt unser Bed & Breakfast gleich gegenüber der Talstation der Schlossalmbahn. Somit ist ein direkter Einstieg ins Skivergnügen garantiert. In den verschneiten Wintermonaten präsentieren sich die Alpen von ihrer atemberaubendsten Seite: Über 200km bestens präparierte Pisten, Langlaufloipen und Rodelstrecken locken in die schneesichere Alpenregion. State-of-the-art Wintersportequipment stellen wir unseren Gästen gern im hauseigenen Skiverleih zur Verfügung, ein eigener Skikeller ist natürlich auch vorhanden. Auch abseits der Pisten überzeugt ein breites Aktivitätsangebot, von der romantischen Pferdeschlittenfahrt bis zu naturverbundenen Schneeschuhwanderungen durch die glitzernde Winterwelt. Auch nachts lässt sich dem Skivergnügen auf beleuchteten Skipisten frönen, anschließend wärmt man sich bei Glühwein oder Jagatee in einer der zahlreichen Hütten, oder im Tal an unserer gut bestückten Hausbar. Für Entspannung und wohltuende Wärme sorgen die Saunawelten und Dampfbäder der Alpentherme Gastein oder der Felsentherme in Bad Gastein.
