PLÁCIDO DOMINGO - An absolute world star and a multi-talent

With the world's most famous living tenor and "King of Opera", the Klassik:Sommer in Bad Hofgastein, which comprises over 60 events, reaches its climax at the end of July. The programme of this unique concert evening on 30 July 2023 includes a selection of arias and duets from Plácido Domingo's extensive vocal repertoire. He will be accompanied by Mané GALOYAN. The Armenian soprano trained at the Houston Grand Opera Studio and is the recipient of several international awards, including the "Operalia" singing competition founded by Plácido Domingo in 1993. Mané Galoyan appears at numerous international opera and festival stages such as the Metropolitan Opera, Zurich Opera House, Paris Opéra, Glyndebourne Festival and is an ensemble member of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. The orchestra, the PRAGUE PHILHARMONY, is conducted by EUGENE KOHN, a long-time musical companion of Plácido Domingo.
