Enjoy regional specialities, explore the mountain pastures, admire the gorgeous backdrop in the National Park Hohe Tauern

Step by step to the meals: Under this motto you will experience in Sportgastein a guided culinary walk, where you will get to try
regional, seasonal highlights and some stories of the inn-keepers.

The culinary journey includes seven regional specialities – like cheese dumplings, blueberry french toast and cream strudel.
You will get the matching drinks with it – like elderflower juice, fresh buttermilk and gentian schnaps.

Duration: approx. 5 hours

Meeting place: 10 am

Takes place in any weather, light hiking clothes are recommended

10.10 - 10.30 am Viehauseralm - cheese dumpling soup - 1/4 l elder juice

10.40 - 11.00 Valeriehaus - pickled trout, farmer's cottage cheese, bread chip - Alpine herbs Sprizz

11.25 - 11.45 Pottinger Hütte - meat doughnuts with cabbage - 0.2 l beer

12.30 - 12.50 Veitbauernalm - variation of bacon - gentian schnapps & beer

13.30 - 13.50 Nassfelderalm - milk cream strudel with warm raspberries - coffee or 1/4 l alpine herbal lemonade

14.10 - 14.30 Moisesalm - Blackberry-Pofesen - Buttermilk or milk

14.40 - 15.00 Schareckalm - cheese variation from the Schareckalm - 1/8 l wine or 1/4 l naturally apple juice


Registration at the Tourist Office Bad Gastein by noon the day before
