Guided Hike National Park Hohe Taueern - along the Roman roads across the Alps

First we hike along the Nassfeld themed trail towards the end of the valley. You can still guess the old Roman road in some passages.

Our tour continues steeply uphill over a narrow path to the Eselskar.

After a break for a snack at the pass, it's back down into the Mallnitzertal to the Jamnigalm.

From here we can take the hiking bus to Mallnitz and then take the train back to Bad Gastein.

Meeting point: 7.30 am, Bad Gastein train station

Duration: approx. 9 hrs incl. transfers (6 hrs of hiking)

Altitude meters: 800 m

Difficulty: demanding summer excursion

Bus and taxi transfer costs (approx. € 20,00), cable car rides and consumption are to be paid extra.

Ankle-hugging hiking boots and weatherproof clothing are essential!
