A nice autum hike to the Poserhöhe.
Passing Hotel Grüner Baum, the path meanders along the steep mountainside. The sight of the Himmelwand (towering granite crags) is impressive. Numerous little “dwarves”
stand alongside the path, shortening the hike up with the help of nice stories and anecdotes.
Once we reach the plateau, the picturesque Poserhöhe – nestled amid forest, yet standing open and free. The views of Bad Gastein and the Stubnerkogel are glorious – promising pure enjoyment!
After a pit stop the path leads down to the Gasteiner Höhenweg and back to the starting point.

Total duration: approx. 4 hrs. (hiking time: 2½ - 3 hrs.)
