Child Care and a Great Vacation Program
All kinds of fun at the GASTI Kids & Teens Club
Parents and children don’t always have the same expectations of their vacations. Mom and Dad might want to hike in the mountains or go golfing, while the kids would prefer to dam a river, bake bread, enter a volleyball tournament, or hunt for ghosts in Klammstein Castle. At the GASTI Kids & Teens Club, your children couldn’t be in any better hands as they spend their unforgettable summer holidays in Gastein with others of the same age.
Here in Gastein, boredom is never allowed in the door. The GASTI Kids & Teens Club meets Monday through Friday between 10am and 4pm, promising a variety-packed activity program that includes all kinds of fun, action, sports and games. Younger club members ages 4 to 8 will feel safe and secure at the GASTI Kids Club, while 9- to 13-year-olds can look forward to awesome adventures with the Teens Club. And all of the program highlights, unless otherwise posted, are free of charge. For special activities, such as tandem paragliding or an archery course, there is a minimal charge. All children staying with their parents at a participating Family Partner establishment automatically receive a GASTI membership card.
GASTI Kids Club – a program for young damsels and courageous treasure-hunters
The week kicks off with a fun Welcome Party, giving the kids a chance to get to know each other. Exciting outings, outdoor activities and parties are organized every day. For example, the Indian Powwow includes an opportunity to grill your own hot dogs over a campfire, and llama Ttekking, bread- or doughnut-baking at an alpine hut, hikes for families or just-for-kids along a nature trail, a Family Olympics, or an afternoon of riding on Icelandic horses are options. If the weather happens not to cooperate, the GASTI Club Room is always available for back-up activities: the kids will be able to play, do crafts, or listen to stories to their hearts’ content.
GASTI Teen Club – Holidays with a major fun and coolness factor!
Whether paragliding, archery, beach volleyball, building a dam or splashing about at the Solarbad Pool in Dorfgastein, the activities and program highlights for older children are truly unbeatable. Together with kids the same age, they have a wonderful opportunity to try something new and discover their hidden talents. Parents know their children are in good hands, which gives them a chance to pursue some of their own vacation ideas. Though of course, Mom and Dad are definitely invited to join us on Family Day for an exciting introduction to rock-climbing.
