WTA- Tennis Event 12. - 20. July 2008 and European Junior Championships 20.-27.July, 2008
From the 12thto 20th of July, We are holding a new WTA Tournament in Bad Gastein as well as the Austrian club master is played. For this Event we are particularly building a centre-Court for approximately 2,000 spectators. The world-class event is to be established and become thus a successful and popular mark on a long-term basis in the Gasteinertal valley.
from 20.07. till 27.07.2008, 150 up-and-coming young tennis players will once again be competing for the title of European Youth Champion on the tennis courts of the Rot-Weiss Bad Hofgastein Tennis Club.Austria’s biggest youth tournament, 77 boys and 70 girls from 49 nations will be taking to the courts. Winners’ lists from previous years include such names as Rafael Nadal and Martina Hingis. Last year, young Swiss star, Stephanie Vögele, who is now drawing the tennis world’s attention on the WTA tour, managed to capture the title.
