The Traffic Guidance System in Bad Gastein
Bad Gastein now offers its guests a newly developed traffic guidance system. Due to its topographical location, some parts of town are not always easy to find. In order to help our guests get their bearings more easily, the Bad Gastein Tourist Office has created a colour-coded traffic guidance system.
The following is a list of the different communities and the colour coding associated with each:

Your primary sources of information are as follows:
- Information in the hotel catalogue incl. colour coding for the various establishments
- Information on the Internet e.g. Gastein.com
- Information in the hotel’s own prospectus and on the Internet
- Information accompanying reservation confirmations (travel tips)
Information available locally:
- Panorama signs at the entrance to town (Lafen, Arbö car park, Böckstein)
- Tourist Information Office
- Colour-coded markings with directional arrows on the roads
The traffic guidance system has been implemented so that guests, even when not in possession of detailed information, can find their way to their lodging establishment easily.
The street name is always displayed at the very top of all signs.
